Baleno Ambassadors

Meet Elizabeth Roberts, our newest Baleno Ambassador!

Liz is the Estate Administrator at Lees Court Estate in Kent, a vast and stunning shooting estate that has been home to the same family for more than 700 years.

Alongside the Grounds Game Keeper, Liz is responsible for all the shoots that take place on the Estate. She is also PA to the Countess Sondes, who in 1996 became the steward of Lees Court and its 6,900 acres on the death of her husband, Henry George Herbert, The Fifth Earl Sondes.

Lees Court is renowned for its first-class shoot. The first day of the season takes take place in October, and lasts around 25 days until the end of January. A mix of pheasants and French partridges are released on the Estate for the shooting season.

Such is its prestige that Lees Court is featured in Richard Purdey’s chapter about his favourite shoots within Alex Brant’s book ‘The World’s Best Shoots’, published in September 2008!

Liz enjoys being involved with all the shoots and her own dogs often work the shoots too! Having worked at Lees Court for just over 20 years, Liz depends on country clothing that offers superior technical performance as well as British elegance. For that reason, she turned to Baleno!

In the photo above, Liz is wearing Baleno’s stunning Ladyfield waterproof jacket in Camel colour! This charming jacket has a detachable and washable treat pocket that we’re sure her gorgeous dogs appreciate!

Liz is a fan of the Ladyfield’s matching waterproof and breathable Villars trousers too. She also owns a Chatham gilet from Baleno’s Lady Highland collection.
